or how each Avenger found out about the fall of S.H.I.E.L.D. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ His eyes widen as he sees the simple, four-word headline: CAPTAIN AMERICA PRESUMED DEAD. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Natasha watched as S.H.I.E.L.D fell. The other Avengers were nowhere to be found and have no clue what has happened. Now they do. "Presumed Dead" takes place during "Captain America: The Winter Soldier" and explores how each Avenger came to find out about the fall of S.H.I.E.L.D and the presumed death or Captain America. "Her name is Hela," he replied, watching the infant lose interest in the shield and move onto something else. Hela looked up at the mention of her name and the same grin came across her face. The smile reminded the Avengers of Loki, it was clearly obvious. The child seemed more innocent, but she was clearly his daughter. It didn't take a genius to know what they were about to do. The Avengers were about to have their hands full. Loki's only daughter was taken from him when she was just a baby. Her father was a criminal and unfit to care for her, and her mother was dead, so Odin ordered Hela to be sent to Midgard. Thor automatically calls up S.H.I.E.L.D. and soon Hela is being sent there to be raised by the Avengers. How will the young girl turn out being raised by superheroes, and more importantly, how will Earth's Mightiest Heroes fair against Loki's daughter?

Where there are heroes, chaos always tend to follow. But they firmly believe they can handle someone as simple as a petty thief, that is until she has made nearly all of them a victim of her sticky finger profession. AGE OF GLORY Book One · ~ · ~ · ~ · ~ · "Pietro," Wanda whispers to him in Sokovian, "Pietro, come back. Dear brother, I need you." His vitals come back on, only a moment passes before he flat lines again, but there's still brain activity. "Tony, more!" "I'm trying! Dr. Banner is way more suited to this than I am." Tony's hands go wild, trying to keep his new found, new lost, friend alive for one more second so that Wanda can work her magic. "Pietro!" Wanda yells, forcing will for him to live even harder to him. "Pietro, live!" Just as he vibrates at the highest frequency, his body escapes into a bright light, disappearing from their world. Wanda is in shock. His mind is ripped apart from hers like glue. She grabs her head in her hands, trying to contain a scream. "Tony, what the hell happened?" Tony gazes at the empty spot where Pietro was. His eyes are empty; shock makes him stumble. "I-I don't know." · ~ · ~ · ~ · ~ · In an attempt to bring Pietro Maximoff back to life, Tony Stark and Helen Cho create a machine that vibrates Quicksilver's naturally vibrating molecules at a level that raises his brain activity. Wanda Maximoff uses her magical powers to get inside his head to coax him back to the world of the living. Instead of bringing Pietro back, the machine sends his body and mind to an alternate reality, where the Avengers are in comics and movies, and Quicksilver himself is no more than a famed character among nerds. Glory Northern is a high school student, almost to college. Planning to major in Creative Writing, she plans to try to work for Marvel Comics, creating the very characters she loves so much. Her life is all but unplanned. What happens when a unconscious Pietro falls onto her front lawn as she's walking home? Does she run away, or more precisely, she run away with him? Will Pietro get back to the world where he's died, or will he choose to stay with Glory? [COMPLETED] {Cover by @CaroDelMonte © 2017}

"Trouble is my middle name." ~ Lillian Nightshade is a metaphorical rock in SHIELD's boot, one that not only has a mouth snarkier and more sarcastic than the hypothetical (and entirely impossible) baby of Tony Stark and Deadpool, but has a certain knack for slipping from the authorities' grasp on a regular basis. She's arrogant, she's witty, she's satirical, she's immature and she's one of the best damn assassins in the industry. Steve Rogers is the hero every man wants to be. He has a strong sense of duty, honour, dignity and humility, with old fashioned, idealistic goals that would make the world a better place. Some - namely Stark - would call him a stick in the mud and make a mockery of him by pinning him with obscene names like 'Fourth of July Stripper' or 'Walking Flagpole', but in the end, he's America's sweetheart with a golden legacy that will last for generations. So it's only natural that the two complete opposites - who are also each other's enemies- to clash the moment they meet one another, yes? Filled with action, revenge, old adversaries, humour and of course the lovely drizzle of a bipolar romance, this is the story of how a narcissistic assassin falls for one of Earth's Mightiest Heroes. Her enemy.
