Detention is supposed to be a punishment, but for Louis and Harry, it's the start of something beautiful. Unfortunately, what starts off as a harmless love affair quickly takes a turn for the worse. Through all the stereotypes, judgments, family issues, and demons from the past, Louis and Harry struggle to stay strong. What happens in detention, stays in detention. [NOTE: I began writing this book in 2011 when I was 13 years old. There are many grammatical errors, cringe-worthy moments, and plot inconsistencies. Obviously, my writing has improved immensely since 2011, so please feel free to check out any of my more recent works instead. This book is not representative of my present-day writing abilities. I would prefer to delete this entirely (and its sequel), but there have been many readers who have expressed their love and appreciation for this book despite its flaws. Regardless, thank you all for your support with the Detention series over the past few years. I love and appreciate each and every one of you.]

Never date a band member. Especially the lead singer. They get all the attention, all the girls, everything. And it's hard to just sit back and watch that. Well, it was for me, that is. I hated sitting back and watching him put everything before me. I was jealous of all the groupies and all the fans he saw every night. He'd never get with any of them, but still. I was jealous. Why? Because he was and is happier on stage then when he was home and got to see me, the "love of his life". He always did tell me that I came first. I know that's a lie though, because if I came first he would've been home me. Here I am, in Portland alone, depressed. And longing for someone to stay and talk to me. About all my secrets. Everything I've kept bottled up. Everything that I never told him while he was gone on tour. And now I never will. We broke up. I shouldn't cry about it though, I knew this would happen. That's what happens when you date the lead singer.

The rising to the top band 'Sorry We're Late' has a new record label. Rise Records. Sleeping with Sirens also has the record label. The lead singer, Summer James Parker, has a past that everyone knows about... except for her. She doesn't realize that her forgotten past is a problem until she meets Kellin Quinn. She also happens to meet him during Warped Tour 2012, the tour she's been waiting a life time for. Is she going to let someone she thinks she doesn't know ruin this tour for her? Or, is she going to let him ruin it as punishment. And what happened in her past? Well, that's for Sleeping with Sirens to know and for you, and her, to find out. --QUICK NOTE! Kellin Quinn is not married in this story. Instead he just has a serious girlfriend. I was actually thinking about making him married or with Katelynne in this and them having a child but I just couldn't! Kellin is not the type of person to hurt his family and there is some harsh hurting in this story! I seriously do love Kellin and Katelynne as a couple though. They are so fricking cute! Thank you for understanding.-- Warning: Sexual content (not just heterosexual, guys. You are warned), vulgar language, self harm, medical issues, death, and violence will be in this story. I will warn you when and if characters in the story are getting it on, when and if characters in the story are dying (or in pain either caused by others or themselves), and when and if something goes down that I don't think all of you want to read. But, I will only warn you all if it is truly needed. :) Cover by: simplystiles-

Lex was just a dreamer in a small town in California. No matter what age she always wanted to be one thing in particular: a rockstar. At the age of eleven she began taking lessons to learn how to play bass. At thirteen she took singing lessons along with her friends Luna and Jenna. She would never give up on her dreams, not for anything. Eventually music became the only thing keeping Lex together. Her home life has changed since she and her two best friends started their band, The Living Lights. The lyrics she wrote down on the pages of her journal were full of anger, pain, hurt, sadness. Then she met Louis Tomlinson of One Direction at a charity soccer game. She was playing for one team while he was playing for another. The moment they collided changed their lives, and Louis began to heal Lex without realizing… and so did she to him. A story of pain, fear, strength, music, dreams, overcoming hardships, best friends, healing, and the power love can have over two certain people. A Louis Tomlinson story. This is just a little note to tell all of you: I am from America. I'm going to call it soccer, a lot of the story will be placed in America, and I'll be using American terms. Also Eleanor will not be in this story at all. I hope you all like this story. If anything confuses you or if I mess something up please please please comment. Love you all. Enjoy.
