What if the ministry of magic had been ready the day the Potter's got murdered? What if Voldemort got put in Azkaban? What if there was no, "boy that lived". What if the wizarding world was still at peace? Lavender Baldwin is a pureblood, but you would not know it by knowing her. She comes from a very similar house to the Malfoy's, all Slytherins, and very cruel. When she gets put in Hufflepuff, her family does all but disown her; they still let her live in their house in the summer, but she gets treated worse than the house elves. What happens when strange things start happening to Lavender, putting her in the line of danger. How will she deal with it? When she grows to care about people, will she be able to save them from new and old evils? This is going with the same time as my other HP fanfic, and would make more sense if you read them together.
