Y/n gets her feelings for Cedric Diggory publicly exposed and the golden boy rejects her. The next year Y/n is still getting bullied for what happened, but the Triwizard Tournament brings a certain popular French girl who notices how Y/n is being treated. The two click immediately, despite their opposite personalities, and form a plan for Y/n to win Cedric back and be desired by all. By fake-dating the beautiful Fleur Delacour, Y/n is conflicted whether she is excited that Cedric is giving her the attention she wants or if she's excited for the new "relationship" with Fleur.
