A few years before this story takes place, Soviet (USSR) stumbled upon a civilization of mermaids. He gained their trust, but betrayed them. He kidnapped their queen, along with a few others. He keeps them in aquariums in his house. The free mermaids moved, so that they wouldn't get caught either. They never forgave humans after this incident. ~*~ One day, while fishing, Russia gets caught in a terrible storm. He's thrown into the sea by a huge wave. Does a mermaid save him? Or does he die and the story ends right there? Haha, you have to read the book. I'm so mean.

Many things get in the qay of an admirer getting Ame's love in an ALL. BOY. SCHOOL. The strict rules making things difficult for the not popular boys but they never give up.
