A group of teenagers who live in a place known only as "The Compound" are led to believe that they are the last people on the planet, aside from their ever-present caretakers. The Caretakers study them and their abilities, never once letting them know of the thriving outside world. In the outside world, everybody has abilities, known as "Gifts." The oppressive government prevents people from using these Gifts properly. A faction of rebels is on the rise, determined to retrieve the children they lost to this cruel government and create a fairer world for all. "and we don't like being wrong..." Modern futuristic AU. This story will contain mature themes and triggering topics, such as somewhat detailed descriptions of blood and violence, suicide, depression, homophobia, child abuse, and death. I do not own the characters, but I do own the plot. Please do not steal the plot or elements of this story.

What are the four heroes up to now, since Hyrule is safe again? There is one problem. When they returned the four swords to its pedestal.. they didn't all return to one Link again. Maybe it was because their personalities changed? Who knows. How will the heroes take on their new lives?

This story is set after the defeat of Calamity Ganon. Link, one of the five chosen Champions of Hyrule, is faced with the aftermath of all the events that have played. From waking up in the Shrine of Resurrection, to losing his memories and regaining him again, has left him with not only physical scars, but also mental scars. The latter is what he is facing upto now. He spirals into a depression and the accompanied suicidal thoughts. After an incident, he is forces to be guarded by Leon, the second best knight in Hyrule. Zelda is faced with not only restoring Hyrule, but also saving her knight from himself. It proves a difficult task, as she visits the leaders of the differend places in her kingdom. Link's emotions spiral out of control and every place triggers them. Are Zelda and Leon up for the task to help their hero. Finally. Hyrule had been restored to peace, and everything was back in order. Things were running smoothly back at the Castle, the princess doing all her required duties. Link was doing good himself, helping any one in danger, or that simply needed a helping hand. Everything was great. But little did Link know, the dark sorceress Cia had returned, and her spirit still lived on. When Link discovered that Cia was back in Hyrule, he was determined to vanish her once again, but this time for good. But after a while, his plan backfires, and his life has been changed around. This story is just made out of my thinking and stuff. XD this fanfic is mostly about a mind trick playing around with Red and we don't know if it's real or not until we get to the ending. Also, I may be busy for a few days at times so if I don't make another part within like two days then I'm most likely lazy or busy.
