A psychiatrist once told Stella Montgomery that perception is reality. That same psychiatrist told her many other things, too. Those weren't important. What was important colored her reality: psychosis. One simple word. It colored many years of her life, until she finally got it under control. The shadows, that harbored things best left alone, grew smaller. They stopped moving. Fantastical creatures, found in small sunbeams and hidden pockets withdrew into their world.
