"I don't have to do things like this..." his gaze then suddenly darkened into sheer coldness and ice, alerting chills to race down Anne's back. "I want to." As they learn more and more about Dawn's past, they fall closer and closer to something that the old Dawn never plotted to expose herself.

When she took to exploring the island, she couldn't stand to hear the crying of children so she found the shadow and demanded to be taken home. After losing Bae, Wendy was distraught and will stop at nothing to get him back. Even if the infamous Peter Pan stands in her way.

Wendy Darling always wanted to go on an adventure and visit far off places. When a shadow visits her one night, she is taken to a magical land, known as Neverland. She learns that magic is real, and everything seems perfect. She returns home and meets Baelfire, who warns her that magic always comes with a price, but Wendy doesn't think something so magical could be so evil. In "Once Upon A Time", they don't give the story of Wendy's time in Neverland, so this is my version of what happened.
