Book 2 of 'Death Saved Me' formerly known as death owns me. Isabel has finally had her baby... Just when she thinks she's safe and away from danger, it finally tracks her down. Her twenty-first birthday is coming up, she will then know what it really means to be the phoenix. Will she survive? Can she handle being a mother and keeping her friends safe? And lets not forget death himself, aka Thanatos. How does he feel about Isabel having a baby with his brother? Does he truly care for her? and what is she to do about Lucifer who doesn't want to leave her side? "There's nothing going on, even if there was what's it to you?" I placed my hands on my hips. I watched as he got up, making his way to me. "What's it to me Isabel?" "Y-yeah." Oh god, why is it only he can make me stutter? He wrapped an arm around my waist pulling me close, we were now chest to chest. "Let me think." He placed his head in the croak of my neck, lips inches from touching my skin. I could feel myself flushing. "W-what are you doing?" I placed my hand on his chest attempting to push him away. In a flash he had me against the wall, my hands pinned above my head. Uh oh. "Just claiming what's mine, something I should've done a long time ago." My eyes widened as he smashed his lips to mine.

I can remember it like it was yesterday....because it was. "You think you can handle working with me?" He asked smirking. I rolled my eyes, "You're not the first asshole I've worked for and I doubt you'll be the last." He stood up from his desk and walked over to me, until we were chest to chest. "Did your other bosses make you feel like this?" He started leaning in, my eyes widened. What was he doing? "L-like what?" I couldn't stop myself from stuttering. He just smiled before walking back over this to his desk.
