[2024 Amby Awards winner] For as long as he can remember, Caldor has been forced to live a life of crime. With a group of his fellow thieves, they've stolen from practically all of the wealthier citizens of Redreach over the years. They have a system of how to go about their business, and it works. Until one day when it doesn't. Captured by guards and dragged off into the dungeons, Cal expects to be executed. What other fate could await a lifelong thief? But instead he is given an offer: his life will be spared if he steals a specific book. The catch? The owner of said book is a dragon. Caldor ends up accepting, having little choice, but he doesn't believe he will succeed. What Cal assumes will be his death turns out very differently, however, when he actually meets the dragon-a surprisingly human-looking and handsome creature called Idriseth-and very quickly becomes enamored with him. Cal may have come to steal the dragon's book, but now he wants to steal his heart. But will the always guarded Idriseth let him? Can a dragon even love a human? --------------------------- [word count: ≈ 40 000 words] ★ Featured on @Romance ★ • Book 1 - The Thief's Dragon • Book 2 - The Thief's Mate • Book 3 - The Thief's Choice • Book 4 - The Thief's Bargain • Book 5 - The Thief's Half-Dragon • Book 6 - The Thief's Lovers

Now that Caldor and Idriseth are together, everything seems to be going right for once. Cal is still bitter and angry after what happened to his guildmates, but he tries to put it all aside, move on, and focus on the new life path that's in front of him. That is until he runs into an old friend he thought was dead. While Cal is ecstatic that Kyra is alive, her dislike of dragons quickly makes things complicated. But even as Caldor struggles to figure out how to explain everything to Kyra while avoiding upsetting both her and Idri, something much worse is brewing on the horizon. Lord Augerill needs Idriseth for his own, mysterious purposes. And his people won't rest until the dragon is captured. An aspiring knight unwittingly saves the dragon he was sworn to kill. But can he also win the dragon's heart and stop his kingdom from burning to ashes? *** It is tradition for knights to prove their worth by slaying a dragon in the Serpentine Mountains. For Laurence Montbow, an aspiring knight from a decrepit noble house, it's his only chance to save his family from losing their land, and to secure a good marriage. After a dragon hunt gone wrong, however, Laurence finds a naked elven man with amnesia instead. Knowing the guileless elf wouldn't survive on his own, especially when trapped in his enemy's land, Laurence reluctantly takes the man along and tries to help him regain his memories. This act of goodwill turns complicated as the elven man keeps worming himself further into Laurence's heart until it becomes hard to fight the attraction. But the elven man is not what he appears to be... and neither are the dragons from mount Serpentine.

[Complete. Wattys 2023 Winner] The Redding takes you if it knows your name. That's the rule that's kept Meg alive --- or awake, rather --- since the night the world went to hell. Nobody knows where the red stuff came from, but it acts like water, it's in the water, and it falls as rain every night. The people it captures drop like puppets with their strings cut. They're asleep, not dead, and they can be reawoken. But then they just try to kill you. Meg and the other survivors she's befriended think they've found a stable equilibrium, six weeks after the catastrophe began. In an empty town, there's not much to do except innovate new survival methods. Meg's crush is the one to discover that Morse Code, like writing, is a safe means of communication. That's all fine and good until the nightly rain begins. Raindrops, as it turns out, can make dots and dashes, too. The Redding can talk. And it's telling her to run. ❖❖❖ Complete. Wattys 2023 Winner. Shivawn, Prince of Vileria, is tired of the way he's being smothered in his Kingdom and leaves home every day to a magic waterfall, to be free, to be someone else - to be him. Darius, Prince of Adromena, is more of a rebel and leaves home just to spite his family. Then he mistakenly stumbles upon Shivawn, and his real reason for being rebellious is forgotten. The two princes become great friends, despite the fact that their kingdoms are in the middle of a huge war. When the war between their kingdoms becomes too great, they decide to take matters into their own hands, both tired of the fighting. But it might not have been a very smart idea to run away from home, ON THEIR OWN, to find The Tourmaline, a semi-precious gem rumoured to help create peace where there was war. Follow these helpless princes on their journey of love and discovery and have a laugh or two - or a heart attack. - Copyright © 2013 Viano Oniomoh All rights reserved.
