Roy said, ending the fierce debate. There have been a series of State Alchemist kidnappings and murders in Amestris. Roy had recently gotten the job to figure out the problem and the culprit. However, a few days after he received the job he got a letter stating a few sentences that would change everything. "We're on the hunt for the Hero Of The People... Just remember to use your time with the blond wisely. Have fun because he'll be real fun for us. ~The Hunters" Roy became really shaken up about the letter. He doesn't want anything happening to his precious Edward so he decides to not tell him about it. Roy really does care, but will this secret be his undoing? Roy Mustang had many questions. But no question was as unexplainable to as why he was stuck babysitting a sick Alchemist. Nobody asked if he was okay with it, they just dumped him on his couch and left. Now what was he suppose to do? He wasn't fit taking care of him, he's never even been near a sick child before! Sick in bed, Edward Elric struggles to brave his way in the disastrous weather to his Colonel's office with a report to hand in. No one likes to have their head bitten off by their superior, right? However, as soon as he gets there, Roy orders him to go home. Coughing up a substance, the Colonel tries to take him to the hospital, but gets a surprise when he's asked a question...

Edward Elric comes down with the flu and while Al is off doing the work Ed should be doing, he is placed in the care of Colonel Roy Mustang. Soon even he gets sick and they're both forced to look after each other. [RoyEd]

They say after a tragedy, life gets better. For Edward Elric, it did. After being tortured for a couple days ruined him. But, Roy Mustang swept Ed off his feet and saved him. Then four months later, an old enemy appears. Roy changes, Ed cracks. But once again, Roy fixed him, the piece of broken metal Ed was. Now, it's been five years, since Roy had saved him. Ed's life finally got better. But it didn't last long.

Edward, Sergeant Brosh and Lieutenant Ross are all captured. When Major Armstrong, Lieutenant Hawkeye, Al and Roy go to save them, Ed is badly hurt. Mentally and physically. He won't talk about what happened. Roy decideds that its his job to fix Ed and over time, falls in love with him

After his failed attempt at harming Ed, the Lightning Alchemist is annoyed. So, he decides to do something new. Meanwhile, Roy and Ed are in a bit of a puzzle when a new subordinate shows up for Roy. Ed is reminded of some unpleasant memories and is slowly forgotten. Things happen, and even Roy changes. Can Ed remind Roy of what they used to be? Or will he die to hands of The Lightning Alchemist?
