*Completed* *Unedited* With every step he took towards me, I took one back until I hit the edge of his bed. A deep growl rumbled from his throat and I tried to make myself smaller in hopes that he would leave me alone. Being a human, I stood no chance against this beast in front of me. He would tear me apart. His muscles rippled with ease from underneath his shirt; his stance towered over me; his eyes colored with darkness; and I knew he was struggling to keep his wolf contained. "Kitten, don't act all scared. This is what you wanted, isn't it? You've always fantasized about what it would be like to be with a beast like me." His hand approached me slowly and then brushed my hip. I gasped. His teeth grazed my neck and I unconsciously leaned my head away, so he could have more room. "Answer me!" he growled. My chest furiously moved up and down as I tried to calm myself. I shook my head. "Well, Kitten, you're MINE. Whether you like it or not." From a very young age, Mae has been told by her father to stay away from werewolves. They were too rough, too dangerous for humans, but she always had a fascination with them. Damon was the Alpha of the Night Bane pack and he was exactly what Mae's father told her he would be - rough and dangerous. *Not my cover art @ Jojoesart

****Copyrighted**** 'Tell me you don't feel it.' He whispered against my lips, and the trembling that had ceased at the feel of his lips against mine began again with renewed vigor. 'Tell me it's not what you want, and I'll go. You'll never have to see me again.' Swallowing, I looked up at the eyes that had entranced me from the start. I took in his every feature, slowly and deliberately. I thrilled at the feeling of his arms enfolding me, and I inhaled his familiar scent with a trembling breath. And then, then I did the most foolish thing imaginable: I flung my arms about his neck and kissed him with all that I had, almost losing myself in the safety and security I felt. But more than that, I ran. I took his moment of shock, the slight loosing of his arms about me, and tore myself away from him, shoving out the door and into the rain. I suppose I'll never know why he didn't follow me. It was the thing I feared most. I knew that if he came for me a second time, I wouldn't be able to say 'no'. I wouldn't be able to run. But I had to. I had to go. I couldn't let him be hurt because of me. He would live on now, and I would marry another. I had leased my last bit of passion in that one moment in his arms, and as I made my way through the dark streets, I felt myself become dull and lost like the creatures bound in the menagerie. **Much of this was written when I was younger and then I came back later and finished it. There will likely be mistakes. Lots of them.

"Love is..." I explored my brain to find the most suitable word in my dictionary that could fit in the definition I was trying to say; the definition that could make the jerk, sitting opposite me with a smirk on his face, believe in 'love'. "Bullshit?" He offered with a huge arrogant smirk on his face and no matter how much I agreed with him on this particular matter, I couldn't agree. So, instead of nodding my head in agreement, I scowled at him. His smirk grew bigger and he leaned away from me, gazing at me with his piercing grey eyes. "Finding it hard to make me believe in love when you yourself don't believe in that shit, huh?" With his piercing grey gaze fixed on my every move, I realized that 'being the devil's cupid' was going to be a lot tougher than I had initially thought. (By the author of 'And We Meet Again')

"So...out with the secret." He said calmly but I could sense the curiousity. He looked at me when I didn't answer and raised his eyebrow, hinting me to answer, which made him looked hotter, as if that was possible. "What secret?" I asked. I was irritated. It wasn't my wish to be here. "Why are you so....allergic to love?" He asked though he was looking in front. I was taking him in while my brain asked How did he get the correct word?! I did not answer. "What is it?" He pressed upon and I couldn't help but get irritated. "What is it to you?!" "Dumped by a guy?" He totally ignored my question. "No." "Got cheated?" "No!" "Your first crush was your best friend's boyfriend?" He asked and then chuckled at his own question. "No!" I was getting irritated beyond limits. What was in this guy which made him attractive as well as annoying? "Your guy turned out to be a gay?" "No way! Where do you get these theories from?!" I cried in annoyance. "Well Quartza, you don't wanna know the rest." He winked at me and I was definately sure of that. _____________________________________________________________________________ Emily Sky: Defination of Perfect thought imperfect. This is a fanfiction, considering that anything from this account will be fanfiction. All credit goes to the marvelous author @RobThier, for creating a masterpiece such as Storm and Silence, and it's sequel: In The Eye of The Storm. The characters are not mine, just merely borrowing them. x. Ambrosial (adj.) 1. worthy of the gods; ambrosian; 2. extremely pleasing to the taste; sweet and fragrant; She was something that I couldn't decipher. She was a mystery just as I am. She was something that I couldn't help but let my mind wander to. She was always a question that needn't be answered. You just have to understand her. And, I do. That was what I was afraid of. I can't afford to lose time. But then again, time seems not to be lost when I'm with her. And maybe, that's enough for me. {I can warn you right now that this would not be the same as the original because I suck at imitations and I do not plan on borrowing Sir Rob's writing style (which is flawless, by the way), and my writing style will probably be dominant. This would probably cause a lot of confusion (most of my stories do) since I am not really used to reading or writing Historical Fiction. READ AT YOUR OWN RISK. I will not tolerate ludicrous comments, whining and comparing this to the original.} Cheers.
