His body was strong and kept healing all of his physical bruises, yet his mind and soul was dying and he kept fighting for his freedom.

I was about to laugh when he completed his story, but when I saw the look of seriousness on his face I was just left completely bewildered. Let me be honest though, I didn't understand a thing!
