The one day that Percy has to come home early from Goode High School, a variant of the Black Death has been spread. If you contract it, you're brain shuts down and you have one goal. To kill. Percy nearly escapes with his life, and goes on the run without knowing what happened to his friends at school, or Sally Jackson. Meanwhile, Annabeth took charge of Goode after all of the teachers got infected.

Nia has been in The Third Section for the last past five years, along with everyone else her age. When it's finally time for her to move up to The Forth Section (or as her classmates call it, 'the best years of your life'), there's an explosion. An angry girl that leads the rebellion known as 'The Lost' takes Nia as hostage, and gives her a choice. Stay with the others, and tell The Found that you escaped. Or stay with The Lost, and actually live a life worth living.

This takes place right after book 8.5 in the series Keeper of the Lost Cities, and it's told by mostly Sophie and Keefe's points of view. This is my first fanfic, so I hope you like it!
