On January 17th 2014 a secret government organization that went by the name of The Monarch Butterfly Corporation, was formed in the hopes of finding the cure for various diseases that plagued the human race. But that was only a cover up. The true purpose was kept secret from the world, in the hopes of stopping any kind of outside confrontation. The organization was actually a lab that experimented on teens in the hopes of unlocking a gene that gives humans real powers... For military use. On June 25th 2016 the Monarch kidnapped twenty three kids from across the united states and brought them to their secret lab in New York. There, they ran thousands of tests on the kids... All in the hopes of unlocking the Mutant gene. Joelee Lowell, the first of many to unlock her powers and with the help of her DNA, The Monarch succeeds in their mission and creates the perfect super soldier. With her new found powers and with the help of an old friend, Joelee escapes, along with twelve of her friends. Though, escaping The Monarch's clutches seems easier said than done. (Unedited)

Our world is no so different from the middle ages of your own world. We have knights, princesses...and dragons. But it's not like you think, this IS your world...this is your world after peace...well...somewhat. You see, in 2025 a elite organization of hackers hacked into the worlds database and destroyed any data of weapons, how to build cell phones, computers...etc. Then they implanted a virus...which made all of the worlds technology self destruct. Many people were injured and even more were killed...but in the end, the worlds leaders worked together to bring down the rebels where they were charged for murder and hanged. Eventually a new leader of the remaining people was proclaimed and he decided that this in fact was a wake up call, a opportunity to start fresh..so that's what we did. No internet, no cell phones...no electronics...but we had electric lights and running water while a select few rich people had the luxury of hot tubs even. This was a new generation, and it was a good one, little to no war and no kidnapping or rape. It was a great new world...that was...until the animals started to mutate and grow bigger than we had ever seen. Eventually, we began a war against the animals of our realm, almost all wanted to kill us, except the cats, wolves, lizards.. and.... crocodiles. It was strange that natural predators such as those had no interest in us, but they were smart, very smart, not unlike humans. They helped us win the war and all was peaceful. Years later Scientists created a device called an Elemental Stone, they allowed us to channel the elements...but only one, and it was dubbed our element because it was near impossible to control more than one..so we became, Mages. But only some had the ability to wield the elemental stones while some were immune, the animals who had helped us couldn't control the stones, even some humans couldn't. This story is of a young Mage named Blaise Ladon who is a very special young female Mage...
