Obito finds his self in the wronge timeline with unbearable emotions for his old friend. He dont understand it but oddly it pushes him in the right path with the right attentions but he is just the wronge person for the job.Not to mention his strenght level has also been deaged. It just all seem like a illusion and obito just want to stay in it forever. Soulmate AU in which you cannot see a certain colour until your soulmate forms an emotional bond with you. However, this colour disappears from your sight when the bond is cut. The only scenarios in which you would still be able to see the colour you gained is if your very soulmate is wearing the colour or if you reestablish the once broken bond. Deep down, Kakashi never was able to let Obito go when he died during the mission to destroy Kannabi bridge. Turns out that "Tobi" has an interesting choice when it comes to his mask.
