Para Alec só havia duas coisas que ele mais amava na vida, a música e o seu melhor amigo. Sua vida é turbulenta, assim como as vozes do seu cérebro, ele precisa do controle para não pirar e precisa do seu amigo tanto quanto precisa dos seus remédios e até mesmo do ar que respira, porém tudo muda em um dia. Agora, Alec além de lidar com seus traumas e demônios, precisa lidar com o medo e angústia que lhe atingem ao pensar que pode ter arriscado sua amizade com Magnus e que pode perder ele. Alec não quer correr o risco de Magnus lhe conhecer por inteiro e que veja o que tem dentro do seu interior e lhe abandone. Ele não vê uma vida sem Magnus, o medo de perder o melhor amigo pros desejos carnais que descobriu possuir por ele está lhe condenando. O que ele não sabe é que Magnus, alguém determinado, confiante e de língua solta, está certo do que deseja, certo que não ver mais Alec só como seu melhor amigo e não se importa nenhum pouco de infringir regras, quebrá-las e tornaram inúteis se isso fizer ele ter Alec de uma vez por todas. Ele quer sua tragédia, seu beijo agressivo, suas ordens, seu sexo violento, seu descontrole e seu amor. Magnus é o caos, é a insanidade, a loucura e porto seguro de Alec. Alec para Magnus é o descontrole, o desejo, a paixão e a fuga para uma felicidade que ele sabe que só terá em seus braços. Juntos, poderiam tocar e escrever uma tragédia romântica. Um mau romance, talvez seja isso que acontece quando um furacão cruza com um vulcão.

Alec is studying to be a lawyer at university at his father's insistence, but he wants to be a vet. He loves animals and reading. His father abuses him. He secretly helps Ragnor, a nearby vet. I would write it differently today. Nevertheless I'll leave it as I wrote it then. A bit clumsy, a bit inexperienced. Because I remember how much I wanted this. This was the point where my mental healing began. That's where I realised that by writing Malec stories, I was not only giving myself, but also the rest of the community, a refuge from the anxieties of everyday life. However, I plan to re- write it again because the story excites me and I wonder how I would do it with my current knowledge. If that happens, the original will still be here.
