On a day, a unknown woman asks for a audience with the king and queen. She claims to know a spell that will reveal every sorcerer in the kingdom, and if he has used his magic for good or dark things. Merlin is in a conflict with himself. Is this woman a con artist, or have Gaius and he to fear for their future?

Arthur notices Merlin acting strange and later that week on a hunting trip everything changes. And after that more unfolds.
