10:00 PM KST. Lisa grit her teeth. Shit. In about 30 minutes, Jennie Kim's plane would arrive in Incheon Airport from Paris. Why let me attend this late night emergency meeting! At this rate, I would miss Jennie's arrival. I have to think of something. I have around 10 minutes to get changed and grab my camera from my office then 15 minutes to rush to the airport via taxi. (I can't use my car, that would be risky for my identity). As Mr. Choi was wrapping up his talk, I raised my hand and feigned stomach ache. "Sir! Excuse me, Sir! I think I need to go to the toilet. I think I'm gonna throw up!" I said loudly while clutching my tummy. "What? But, Miss Manoban, you have to be here. You represent Mr. Manoban as the CEO, you will have to report to him the highlights of our meeting." I waved him away. "That's okay, Mr.Choi I'll ask Tzuyu, my secretary to take down notes for me. I'll explain to Dad I promise." I didn't give him a chance to reply because I rushed out of the board room and went straight to my office. I quickly changed from my corporate attire to a black shirt, ripped pants, and leather jacket. I placed my camera and several long lens in my bag. I ran downstairs to catch a taxi outside the building. While in the taxi, I put on my face mask and my cap making sure it covers my eyes just right. I finally arrived at the airport. I saw a herd of fans gathering at the arrival area. I run as fast as I can and made my way to the front row. And there, in front of me. I saw the most beautiful woman in the world. Jennie Ruby Jane Kim. I placed my camera in front of me and snapped a lot of HQ photos. Later tonight, I'm gonna upload these photos on my site "GummyBaby". "How about we make a deal?" she asked. "Tell me a story, and if it's a good enough story, I will show you something. What say you, Jennie Kim?" Jennie raised a brow and asked, "Why do I feel like you're patronizing me the way you're saying my name right now?" "So, it's not a deal then?" Lisa replied, looking smug. But a shadow of a smirk was hinting on the corner of her mouth. "Fine. Deal," Jennie said.

"Are you okay?" Jennie's eyes exude concern, but Lisa no longer finds it comforting. How can she, when she knows now that she will never be anything more than a group member to the person she loves the most. She feels sick to the stomach. She takes a few steps away and clenches her jaw. "I am."
