This wasn't what Kaminari Denki wanted. Or was it? He couldn't tell anymore. Caught in between his friends and a family he can't just forget, he has to make a choice. But maybe he already made it, when he told Shigaraki he'd spy on UA for the League of Villains in exchange for the life and freedom of the two people he cares about the most, and his own health. He doesn't expect to be saved-he knows all too well the incompetence of the hero society. And he knows that he'll be on his own afterwards, hated by the people that have-for better or worse-changed his life forever. The saying is that lightning never strikes the same place twice, that it would take a miracle. Well, Denki's hoping it does, cause he's running out of time and options fast and he could sure as hell use a miracle right about now. I DO NOT OWN MY HERO ACADEMIA. MY HERO ACADEMIA BELONGS TO KOHEI HORIKOSHI.

"What if..." "If only..." "I want a change." These are very well used and bitter phrases in my community, I myself used them far too often From a young age I knew that this world was unfair. Everything was viewed through a black and white lens. You were either a Villain: evil to the core and the scum of the Earth or a Hero: good and just and incapable of any wrong or you were a civilian: nothing, collateral damage, spare pieces in this complex game known as life. I was deemed a Villain before I was even born, because of who my father was you see, and made the dreadful mistake of dreaming to be a Hero. I was Quirkless on top of everything but still I wanted to save people, i wanted to change lives. I still do and I can do that now. But...not in the way I thought I would. "I've finally found someone who wanted me. Unlike you, Kacchan." Izuku Midoriya was a strong-willed child with a bright mind and even brighter future ahead of him. However, life didn't hold its punches against the poor boy. Eventually, after being constantly tormented by the one person he called a friend, and told to give up by his idol, he stops trying to reach his dreams. He was a Quirkless hero fanboy, with a heavy heart that led him to take a leap of faith. His life changed from that day. He is no longer powerless. He'll show it to the world, one day. For now, he's perhaps a little too hyperactive. --- !!! Will contain themes like suicide, depression, gore, insanity, the works. Read at your own risk. !!! As a note: the story may not make entire sense in the first few chapters. There are important points to the story I want to reveal later that may seem confusing in the story's current state. Also, I don't really have access to the manga, and have only watched the anime. I may get things wrong that are explained in the manga. I also don't know anything about Japan and how they do names and such, so I won't be bothering with suffixes like -chan and similar things. Cover picture isn't mine. Don't know who's it is.

No one believed Izuku when he said he had a quirk. Of course no one would believe the delusional quirkless boy who always mumbles to someone who nobody had ever seen, and was obsessed with books about of elixirs and conjurations and hypnosis. That of course changed when odd things began to occur around the boy. It started with his childhood 'friend's' broken arm healing mysteriously. Then, when everyone who crossed the boy ended up getting hurt. And lastly, when people began to swear they saw his shadow move without him. The town was full of whispers about how that boy may not be as quirkless as they thought.. But quirks like that don't exist. ...right?
