My name was once Mia Elizabeth Vauthier. I was the princess of a great land where wolves, grander than any other creature shifted freely between animal and man. Where nature and its inhabitants lived together in an uninterrupted harmony. Where the supernatural was not abhorred by those arrogant beings that called themselves humans. Here the supernatural was just as part of nature as the trees and the grass, just as the Goddess had wished it to be. Since the day of my birth, I had been the envy of all the land. I would be powerful I would be great I would be blessed by the Goddess... Or so they had thought. When I was meant to shed my fragile human skin and flow smoothly in the Goddess' blessed creature of the night, I did not. It did not happen when I was sixteen, or seventeen, or eighteen. The shock had been like steaming water, trickling down the naked skin, tearing skin as it went leaving ugly marks that could never be removed. I became stained. The Princess who was an omega and not just an omega, a wolfless omega. An empty shell, a box with no contents, a heart with no blood. Just an empty vessel. I wished so desperately to fill the empty space with something worth more than the haunting echoes of what should have been but that was not my fate. Instead the once beloved princess I was cast aside, thrust into a tower with no promise of a prince to rescue me. The only dragon that guarded me was my own mind, a sharp weapon which would slowly poison me. I thought nothing could save me... Perhaps it is still too late.

**Sequel to The Alpha's Claim** "Damien, we're in public," I blushed, glancing around. "So?" he said, swirling his tongue on the mark on my neck. "You kissed me first." My body erupted in tingles, and I almost lost my balance. "Damien," I protested again. "Stop." He leaned his head back but didn't lose his grip on me. In fact, he readjusted to keep a firm grip. He slowly pulled my hips against his. "Look at me, dove," he said lowly. I glanced up and saw his dark green eyes flickering gold. They were mesmerizing. Slowly, Damien maneuvered me against the stone wall of the castle. He pinned my hips against the wall with his own. My body flushed with pleasure as our eye contact deepened; we were locked in each other's stares. Damien suddenly lurched forward and trapped my lips with his own. His hands went to my neck, and he cupped my face roughly. "I don't want you talking to Elijah," Damien said as he leaned back to take a breath. My head was swimming. All I wanted was more of Damien. "I don't want you alone with anyone except Berry." "But why?" I asked, leaning in for more. His right hand moved from cupping my face lovingly to gripping my throat subtly. His eyes froze in anger and I stiffened. "Because I don't trust a damn soul here," he said lowly into my ear. "And I am here to protect you. Understood?" he said. The pressure on his thumb began to increase. His eyes were demanding my submission.

A nineteen year old girl who does not know her name, her birthday or her parents. All she knows is what has been beaten into her. The Omega's Mantra. An Omega must do as an Omega is told. One moment changes everything. It sends her life spiraling into chaos and ruin and pushes her closer and closer to death. A simple rejection, a half severed mate bond and the order to tell no one what has happened. An Omega must do as an Omega is told. A red ribbon for banishment and a blue eyed man calling for justice as she makes her walk barefoot in the snow. Cold winds tearing at her skin and the howls of the wolves waiting for her beyond the tree line but she still moves her weak body forward at an Alpha's command. An Omega must do as an Omega is told. Being saved will always come at a price and the girl Alpha Lawrence affectionately called Mary Mary after her favorite nursery rhyme, has paid the price a hundred times over. Trying to work through the mess of her mind, she tries to discover who she is under the cloak of Omega. Drowning in her memories and her anxiety, she struggles to find solid ground before her problems pull her under completely, smothering her cries as she fights for normalcy. PaisleyViking re-publishes her very first book written on a previous account. First published in 2013, Fighting the Alpha was in the Top Ten in Wattpad's Werewolf Category in 2013 and 2014. At the time of transfer from @Secret_Rider's account, Fighting the Alpha has more than 4.9 million reads and 129 thousand votes!!! This may be something you're not used to from @PaisleyViking, but any fans of the werewolf genre who enjoy a good love story mixed with action and drama will find themselves riveted in the tale of Livvy and Wyatt. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I smelled them as soon as I walked out of the bathroom at the roadside Diner. I knew it was a mistake to stop. Wolves. When I glanced up I saw two tables filled with them. I knew right away; aside from the smell, they were huge and muscular. These weren't ordinary humans. I saw one staring at me in particular, but quickly pulled my gaze away and bolted to the door. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Her pack massacred, right before her 10-year-old eyes, Livvy had been living in isolation far from society for 8 years and she wanted to keep it that way. On a rare trip into civilization for supplies, she unwittingly crosses paths with not only one of the most powerful Alpha's in the country, but as it turns out, he's her mate too. But Livvy wants nothing to do with a mate, especially an overbearing, overprotective man like Wyatt. Will Wyatt catch his mate? Most importantly, if he does catch her, will he be able to keep his feisty mate from escaping? And will he be able to uncover the secrets of her past before they come back to haunt her?

Book three of the Forgotten series ~ Weakness is not allowed in the Mountain packs. Living in the mountains, away from civilization and away from the eyes of mundanes. The Mountain packs are harsh and brutal. Shifter against shifter. Pack against pack. Wolves against wolves. All fighting for the same thing. Survival. Azrael Thorn was a powerful Alpha. He had taken his title by force, as tradition dictated. Power and authority of the Alphas and shifters who had challenged him and lost radiated off of his tall, bulky frame. He was dangerous and he was everything an Alpha of a Mountain pack should be. Yet he had no mate or family to call his own. But a mate who could not stand the bitterly cold winters or the brutality of the pack would not produce strength. It would only bring weakness. Weakness is not allowed in the Mountain packs. ~ If the pain stops, it means you are dead. Lace Owens is underestimated at every turn. Her small and delicate built matches her name but the power of defeated enemies hang off her heavily. A power and an authority that would bring many men to their knees if they sensed it, hangs off of her like an oppressively dark cloud but she hides it carefully. Unwilling to let anyone see just how powerful she has become. Her skin is marked with a painful past and she has turned a thing of cruelty into a thing of beauty with her blade. Swirling patterns adorning her skin, hiding the cruelty among her willing pain, her only comfort against the world around her. If the pain stops, it means you are dead. ~ Two world collide as Azrael and Lace form a bond and spiral down into unfamiliar territory where Azrael is shown that strength doesn't always come from size and Lace learns that love can spring from even the most painful places. Together they show the werewolf world a long held belief still stands strong. Weakness is not allowed in the Mountain packs. ~
