Rakim Mayers best known as Rocky on the streets finds his life being strangely rearranged when he begins to find interest in a girl named Skylar. Getting girls has never been a problem for Rocky due to his good looks, sweet charm and street wits but, Skylar isn't like the other girls and Rocky just can't to feel drawn to her. Initially Skylar wants nothing to do with Rocky but, he's a bad boy that's hard to avoid seeing that they live on the same block. The more they encounter one another, the closer they become to each other and, they soon find out that they are connected in a very peculiar way. Will Rocky be willing to adjust to change for love or will he discard his interest and continue with his life as a bachelor?

Tremaine has lived in Harlem for her entire life. She's just another young, misbehaving black girl from a poor family. Even though she misbehaves, she's still innocent. But there's a boy on her block by the name of Rakim who can change her forever. Is there more to Rakim than Tremaine thinks? Is he more than just a local rapping dropout? "Get her"I heard them yell. I ran as fast as I could and made it to my truck. I unlocked it and got inside and then locked the door. I tried to turn on the car on but I was so scared that my hands were shaking. I heard banging and seen them. "Open the door"One of them yelled. I had finally got my key in the ignition but then one of them busted my window making glass go into my arm. I instantly groaned and held onto my now bleeding arm. They opened the door and pulled me out. The one that was holding me, I punched him in the neck making him let go of me. I tried to run but one of them caught so I kicked him in the balls making him let go of me. I tried to run again but stopped when I felt a gun to the back of my head. "Stop"He said and I instantly knew it was the one with the braids. "I want you to get into that car over there"He said gesturing to a Bugatti. "Understand"He said and I didn't say anything. "I said do you understand?"He said and I heard the gun click. "Yea I understand"I mumbled and then walked over to the car getting inside. He got in the driver seat and then drove off. What have I gotten myself into?

My Work #3 | October 2013 - March 2014 | Completed [previously known as Purple] Twenty-five year old Rakim Mayers, better known as 'A$AP Rocky', lives a life that he had not intended. Considering that he's a world known recording artist, but most importantly, a father, life is not as easy as it seems. Having to juggle maintaining his image in the public eye, as well as being present in his three year-old son's life, which is not a simple task to do, Rakim is slowly sinking deep into a hole he has created for himself, but can not climb out of. When receiving a female personal assistant, to help him get back on track, he suddenly realizes that he just so happens to be close friends with her. After slowly developing an even more 'personal' relationship with his assistant, things become interesting. Will things change when his assistant discovers that he has a son?
