"Why are you looking at my lips like that?" I decided to be straight forward and ask him. He were still swaying back and forth at the soft music. "So I can understand what you're saying" his voice was raspy, his face dazzed. He came closer rubbing his forehead to mine. "But I'm not talking" Everything went upside down when Josephine Langford moved to London fore her serior year in high school. From the first day eyes were stuck on her as well as a name: "rebel" By cutting her long private school skirt on the first day of school standing up for her rights another name stuck to her: "slut" She lived by those names, not caring if people knew that they weren't true. She knew who she was and that was enough. But when she met Hero, a mysterious quiet kid, who only read books, had always his headphones on and was obssessed with waves, another name stuck to her: "The deaf kid's protector" And that time she decided to pay attention to that name and actually act on it.

Josephine is an aspiring artist who wanted nothing more than to get out of her small town and make something of herself. As the world experienced a massive pandemic. Josephine began to prepare to self-isolate in her Los Angeles apartment. Being away from friends and family was a difficult time. She missed her baby, Monty. But when the bomb dropped that Hero was on his way to her apartment, she began to panic. They had had a rough fall out and now they were going to be forced to be confined to her small apartment. In the midst of all this, Hero had travelled to Los Angeles for a photoshoot. Unfortunately, everyone was already at maximum capacity in their homes during these hard times. The only one that had agreed to let him stay was Josephine. He had not expected her to agree to this given that the last time they saw each other, they had not ended on good terms. But, it seems that Josephine had all but forgotten about this incident. Little did he know, that their good friend Khadijah had set them up. Would this be Hero's opportunity to ask for forgiveness? Or was he in for a surprise when he realized how badly he had hurt Josephine?

Troubled Hero is sent to a private school in Barcelona Spain to finish school in order to go back home & start his career. Lonely girl Josephine goes to London for a fresh new start, and to find happiness, and solace in acting. A story in which Hero & Josephine meet in completely different circumstances. (Not by being cast in after).
