Digital-forensics investigator Meiko witnesses a fatal car accident and, after forming a bond with the daughter of the victims, she adopts her. 4-year old Miku is the shyest, most quiet child she's ever met - and yet, her timidity makes her special in her own way. She's everything Meiko ever wished for - and it makes her feel ashamed of herself. It's as if Miku's just a replacement for someone she misses dearly. ~~ Vocaloid Fanfiction The characters used in this story do not belong to me, but instead belong to their respective companies, such as Crypton Future Media, Internet Co., Yamaha Corporation, etc. Warnings: Character death, car accidents, blood, trauma, PTSD, verbally abusive pasts, neglection -- Surprisingly, this is the first story I've written in years that, despite the story's warnings, is actually pretty wholesome. I also didn't use any ships in this story. <Ongoing story, will try to update constantly>

"I mean... It's just five nights taking care of equipment. How bad can it be?" ~~ You are a massive vocaloid fan and immediately jumped at the offer to work as Crypton's nightguard for the Magical Mirai equipment. It's just typical concert equipment, right? What could go wrong? Things take a dramatic turn for the worst when you find out that these "pre-programmed" holograms aren't following their codes anymore. ~~ Wattpad Vocaloid Fanfiction Characters used are Hatsune Miku, Kagamine Rin, Kagamine Len, Megurine Luka, KAITO and MEIKO. They are property of Crypton Future Media and don't belong to me. The "Magical Mirai" is an official series of vocaloid concerts, produced by Crypton and Sega. They are held only in Japan, and take place annually. The story is loosely based off the idea from the popular video game franchise, Five Nights at Freddy's, owned by Scott Cawthon.
