This is the story of a young wild horse's fight for freedom after her herd is captured by humans.

I don't usually share my story with people. In fact I have not talked to a human in 3 years sense my parents died. And you may ask what happened to them, but that's for another day, you may also ask why talk to humans in the first place? Well if you can't already tell, I Cara Winters am a horse shifter.

Alexander is powerful, deadly, and legendary. But all he wants is to be left alone after the love of his undead-life is killed. Sadly, his plans get ruined by the rest of the world. First is the problem that the most powerful people of this world and the next are determined to make him lead their army no matter what he wants. To add to his problems, his best friend DJ is bitten by a Dark Vampire (basically a very evil half-demon with no soul) and Alycia, the girl that just moved in with him, turns out to be a double agent. This is a story of betrayal, loss, a war that can only end in the annihilation of one side.

The whole county has heard the story. Girl meets horse. Horse tries to kill girl. Girl wants to kill horse. And miraculously, they make a partnership out of it and go on to win a whole bunch of shows. The fact that the horse is related to a famous horse also helped the news spread. What they don't know is that, if I don’t get enough money, we will either lose the farm, or the horse. And Dad says Demon will be first to go. So, the question is, now that I have Demon, can I keep him? Sequel to Even Demons Have Their Moments.
