Als Rain und Ace sich nach einem Streit vor 10 Jahren wieder trafen, setzte es sich der Schwarzhaarige in den Kopf die junge Blauhaarige gegen ihren Willen zu einem Mitglied der Whitebeard Piraten zu machen. Kaum hatte er dies geschafft, fingen die Ereignisse an sich zu überschlagen. Denn in Rain schlummerte eine so mächtige Kraft, die jeden den sie kannten den Tod bringen konnte. Und neben ihr gab es noch 3 weitere Personen mit solch einer Kraft. Zusammen wurden sie als die „Heiligtümer des Todes" bezeichnet. Doch der wahre Feind schlummerte noch im verborgenen.
