In modern Themis, hybrids are looked down on. They're the outcasts. Throughout the territories, hybrids stay hidden among the pure. But there is a secret sanctuary sought out by the hybrids. A place where everyone is judged not by their DNA, but their personality. This place is called Hybrid Island. Lachesis, the royal liar; said to dispense the thread of life and deal with the past. Klotho, the strong-willed fighter; said to create the thread of life and work with the present. Atropos, the stubborn scholar; said to cut the threat of life and manage the future. What happens when these three overlooked, underestimated and misunderstood strangers are thrown together? When their companions tell them about an island where they could finally be themselves, where they are needed, they fly there immediately. At first, it feels like home, but they start to notice a darkness lurking within their supposedly safe new home. Are they just paranoid, or is there truth behind their suspicions? Their long-time companions have been acting rather odd. Soon the three start to notice that their companions know more than they say. More than they aren't telling them. Aki shows very little emotion towards anyone but his brothers. Ke'oke'o acts far too human-like. Kye seems to hide an ancient inner pain for Aki. It seems a bit suspicious. . . A prophecy binds the three, but they will have to learn to work together. To put their differences and quarrels behind them in order to survive the terrors thrown their way. Along with learning to deal with each other, they have to learn to deal with their inner demons. And with their newfound visions, it's making it harder than it needs to be. As their pasts and futures are revealed, other truths are brought to the surface as well. Fate brought them together for a reason. The only question is, was it to save them, or destroy them? Much is to come in their dark and mysterious adventures, some of it they might not be ready for.
