Confidence is not a natural talent. You aren't born singing in front of millions, "My anaconda don't." It's a gift, it's a practiced skill. When you don't have confidence, your life isn't as fulfilling as other's. Whoops.

"You don't know what someone has been through until you go through it yourself, Alpha Connors." I whispered quietly, my eyes downcast, avoiding his patronizing gaze. "I wouldn't need to know exactly, I just... Where did you get those scars, sunshine?" He ran four fingers carefully over my face, on my scars. I shivered lightly; it felt amazing. His fingers curled back and he cupped my cheek. I pressed my face into his hand, my wolf fully in control. "I-I don't... I don't know, Alpha." I responded as quietly as I could, so his temper wouldn't arouse. It worked. He leaned down and softly whispered in my ear, sending shudders up and down my spine. "We'll have to jog your memory, princess." *********************************************** Rogue Castle isn't what she sounds to be. She's an Omega, the lowest of the low in a pack, the most pathetic. She must respect everyone, especially if they bully her, physically or verbally. It's usually physical. This was what she'd been taught her entire life, by her parents, the higher-ups, even the bullies. They beat it into her, of course, but Rogue knew no other life. Until one day, when Rogue accidentally stood up to the bullies. By accident, of course. And, to prove how unfair her life, her pack is, the Alpha, Alpha Wolf, kicked her out. Stupid name, yes, even worse personality. Now Rogue was exactly what she was treated as. A rogue. And she had to survive as one. But when she stumbled across a pack after years of being alone and packless, a prankster of sorts, she couldn't believe her luck, and she was curious. Because her mate was in that pack. And he was the Alpha. And as they say, curiosity killed the wolf. And her human.

}Previously Sticks And Stones{ Sticks and stones may break my bones, but words words will always hurt more. There is always a bullied. A bystander may not see them, or know them. But the bullied is always there, in the background. Sometimes right in front of you. The bullied of Bridleway High has a name, though no one uses it. Her name is Oakley Mirza. No one touches her, of course, no one would dare lay a finger on her, but they don’t need to. She is driven into the ground by their words. They have left her defenseless, just with the simple syllables that form simple words, which mean so much more to her. There is more to her than they could ever possibly imagine, but they don’t care. Being a ‘mute’ doesn’t help her case much, either. Fang Westbrook is the school's 'bad boy'. He's not the typical popular kind, though. He glares at everyone who looks at him, is avoided by everyone, and has only one friend. Yet, he's still used as a sort of 'cool' pass. If Fang Westbrook is at your party, then your party is cool. If he looks at you, then you're cool. He doesn't care about this, of course, because he doesn't care about anything. No one knows of his dark past, and he's determined to keep it that way. What happens when they both are forced to attend the same masquerade dance for the school, and are somehow pushed to dance with each other without knowing who the other is? Well, bullies and bullied may be different, but as everyone knows, opposites attract. * COPYRIGHT Y’ALL! I’ll sue the hell out of you if you take my shit! Oh, and enjoy the book. :P

There is proof of everything in the world. Good is bad in it's own sense. Bad is good in it's special way. You just have to look closer.
