Peter Pan always wins, but how is it possible for someone to never lose in life? It's simple really, the key to winning is to not show you're weaknesses. Pan has no weakness. Pierre Bezukhov, a drunk, philosophical, existential crisis ridden melancholic guy, trying to find the meaning of life in a bottle of wine, is best friends with War busy Andrey Bolkonsky, who is engaged to Young wistful Natasha Rostov, who is cousins with Sonya, the protective martyr. When all of their paths cross and their conflicts intertwine. War and Peace don't seem to be all that antithetical. -ongoing. Started Jan. 2021

AUTHOR'S NOTE: I started this story as a 14 year old and have now fully realized the cringe I created. But while he's there, he recieves a mysterious death threat. At first the police tell him not to worry about it too much, as these things have happened before and nothing's come out of it. But when "accidents" start happening everywhere that he happens to be, Adam realizes that he has to start treading very lightly in order to make it through the week. The stakes are high. It's a race against time, and his life is on the line. As the week wears on, the pressure starts to build, and Adam begins to wonder if he'll be able to make it out alive. ‼️Side note: The depictions of the people in this book do not necessarily reflect how I see them in real life. [DISCLAIMER] guys I wrote this when I was 14 and I cringe every time I look at it. He looks at me, tears continuously falling from his eyes. But the tears seemed to be hot, and made scars in his cheeks as they trickled down. "Oh, Peter," I said sorrowfully. "Th-the demon.. it doesn't want me to feel p-pain..." He said before yelping. "But you can't help that, Peter. You are a human, and humans crash and bleed and feel pain and sorrow. That's one thing you cannot change, and that's one thing a demon cannot change."

"Because you've forgotten what it's like to actually feel something." I whispered. Peter's expression softened and the only sounds between us were the steady unsynchronized breaths falling from our lips. He swallowed, the closeness of our bodies making my heart beat faster and adrenaline course through me. The feeling was neither pleasant nor unpleasant as I looked into his forest green eyes. "How can you make me feel so belittled with only words?" his troubled voice fell into a whisper and he gripped my shoulders. "Is it your goal to stand before me and pull me apart until I am nothing?"

My mother told me to never change for a boy. No matter what it is or what the consequences are always stay true to yourself, but things have changed. Bye-bye sweet purity.
