Book 1:- Fatherland The Before was a time of disarray. Now is a time of order. Now is a time of peace. It was hundreds of years ago when The War ravaged the Earth, when our leaders decided that the countries were too violent to coexist. They cut off all contact, waiting for generations, hoping that a time would come when unity could be restored. They set a date. November 2500, long after all who saw The War have died, the issue would be reevaluated. It is up to the young, emerging leaders of each country to decide how the world should progress- should we make another attempt at unity, or continue on in the ignorant bliss of isolation? Warning: This book will contain themes such as racism, sexism, homophobia, heavy politics, rape, religion/anti-religion, and other occurrences of today. This book is not meant to gloss over the ugly, skirting around it. It's meant to hold up a mirror to what the world is and what it could become if left unchecked. Thank you so much to @Niranju98 for the wonderful cover. *First place in the Blossoming Story Awards* *First place in the Blossom Awards* *Second place in the Winter Holidays Awards* *Second place in the Insidious Awards* *Third Place in the Creativity Awards* *Emerald Winner in the Open Earth Awards*

Some fates are worse than death--survival is one of them. In the two hundred years since humanity left the Earth's surface to live in the sky, life on the ground faded to a myth, a tragic memory from which they severed themselves to survive. They floated above continents turned to sand and lands swallowed by the seas, watched storm after storm rage against their cities and their monuments until they broke apart the last vestiges of civilization in penance for generations of human greed. As a lightning harvester charged with flying her ship into these storms for energy, Raina has seen more of the planet than most. She has spent her entire life soaring above its craters and scars, studying the gaping wounds of human devastation, as she honed her skills and became the youngest captain in storm-chaser history. Her ship has flown for generations. Her skills are unparalleled. But none of that matters the day they go down. ~ Praise for Earth, After: "I'm so not ready for this ending. Did you ever feel like someone else was orchestrating your life? Like someone else is pulling the strings, and you have no choice but to go with the flow? Daniel Heron felt like that most of his life. It wasn't easy growing up in a home that desperately lacked affection, but he stuck it out. But we all have a breaking point, an on one gloomy afternoon, Daniel reached his. Little did he know that after getting out of one toxic environment, he would instantly get pulled into another. The threads of Daniel's life fell into the hands of Lucio Veles, his friend who believed that the law doesn't apply to him. This is the place to ask. I mostly write fiction, but my dayjob is teaching science and engineering. This book is an ongoing work of scientific answers to your fictional questions.
