'Fight or Flight' is a fanfic based on ChristalScherer's book Upon Wings of Change. I recommend reading it first, as there is a spoiler for the end in chapter 18 of 60. Btw, this is my first fanfic, but not my first time writing. Scientists acquired alien tech, and being without a conscious, decided to experiment on humans. Sela was already out on her own at nineteen. Warren was twenty-three and months away from graduating top of his class. Both were taken, and both were turned into dragonettes. Not long after, the Votec wiped humanity off the face of the planet only to be run off themselves by the Kymari. Banded together with a few other dragonetts, Warren and Sela decided to stay away from the Kymari cities judging the monster-infected forest safer. However, as the years progressed, more dangers arose and chances of survival shrunk. They had to move. Nothing ever went as it was supposed to, and the attempt to relocate came at a high cost. Instead of simply trying to find a new home, Sela was left trying to find Warren while he struggled to make his way back to Earth after being taken. Escript: Was it worth it? Tasha could have been lying or even mistaken about Warren, but the image she shared-it was him. Without a doubt it was him. Sela swallowed hard watching the Kymari enter the shuttle; it was right there, her chance to get Warren back was in front of her, but there was a cost, and she wasn't sure she wanted to pay. She could leave and never look back. It would be that easy. All she had to do was turn around and go, but that meant leaving Macy alone with the Kymari. If her fears were true she couldn't leave him. She couldn't bring herself to move. Indecision kept her rooted to the spot, the seeping cold locking her muscles in place. She wouldn't go back into a cage-but Warren. How could she pass on a chance to get him back? She couldn't lead by herself, she needed him. She wanted him back. Whatever it took.

Crystal Kunz, the only human with wings in the entire world, was flying home when she is shot with a tranquilizer dart, causing her to crash land. When she becomes clearly aware of herself again, she's still different from everybody else, and it causes her to become under more scrutiny then she would've liked. ~~~¥~~~ ~This is a fanfiction based off of @CrystalScherer's work Upon Wings of Change. I dedicate this story as a gift to her and all her readers!* Aspen wasn't the only one to be kidnapped and turned into a dragonet, but she WAS the only one who had a something to hide, outside of their human intelligence. Armed with nothing but the wings on her back and the claws on her feet, Aspen did her best just to survive her new environment. But just as she was starting to get used to her surroundings and her newly acquired skills, the rug is pulled out from underneath her once again. I have asked her permission to use her book as inspiration and stroryline. It is obvious it will not be the same as the original. I want my own flare to it. Pine is studying in college. She has a great academic record, but she also lives to do things that could spoil it all for her. She was coming back to her dorm from a party, and she is intoxicated. Pine's kidnappers sneak up behind her, taking advantage of her state. She is kidnapped, and taken to a lab. She has become a strange creature, and many more have been as well. Now they must learn to get used to their new bodies...and a new beginning.

(Inspired by Upon Wings of Change by Crystal Scherer) Amber was a girl that wanted to be brave. She wanted to be strong. And she was. She was also the school 'smart kid' as she was too 'cool' to be a nerd. She had three scholarships, and she was aiming for a fourth so she could finally finish her goal and start on her bachelors. It was a goal she made when she was in middle school. Once she got four scholarships, she would aim for her bachelors, then she would aim for a masters. Other than being the smartest in school, she was very adventurous. She wanted to travel the world and explore things that no one was brave enough to. She was somewhat wild in this way. She was also set on helping animals. She had memorized various types and what they would need depending on her injury. She was always a fighter. No matter what. Even when she was kidnapped and experimented on. She fought and she was brave. But can she find a way to escape?
