Peridot recently moved into a new city. Her mother died while giving birth to her, and she never met her father. Lapis, on the other hand, also lived by herself but unlike Peridot, Lapis had been dealing with depression for a while. She got (sorta) out of it, but it still roams inside her. Even though Peridot had social anxiety and Lapis had depression, will they be able to love each other? Or will it turn into mortal hate?

Peridot is a young, quirky, brilliant robotics and technology student at New York University. Lapis Lazuli is also a young student at NYU, who is more of the silent, and distant person who excels in the art department. Neither is interested in any relationship, whether it be platonic or romantic. Well, that how it was until these opposites bumped into each other... _____________________________ So this is just a cute, fluffy fic of Lapidot. I know there are tons of fanfics with Peridot and Lapis as university students, but I wanted to try one myself, so I hope you enjoy!
