The day Nikki died in 1987 it wasn't because of an overdose. But that was something he needed people to believe because if they knew what really happened to him that night they would never understand or just think he was some crazy junkie. This story is dedicated to the memory of my beloved Grandma Maxine Cleveland. She always encouraged and believed in me to go after my dreams and it's because of her that I started writing this story. So this and any other story I write in the future will be dedicated to her. I love you Grandma. Thank you so much for believing in me even when I didn't believe in myself.
