I nod my head, "I forgot to ask. What happened to your hand?" "Fell off a train in the mountains. HYDRA found me and gave me this metal one." "What happened?" He comes close to me, and places his metal thumb on my bare skin, trailing the scar. "Nothing," I move away from his touch, trying to ignore the butterflies ricocheting through me. He looks in my eyes, "Every scar has a story." I chuckle dryly, "Then I must be a novel." Bucky leans towards me slightly, my face hardly an inch from his, "You're a novel I'd want to read." Theadora Rogers doesn't know her origins. Correction, she doesn't remember. Correction, HYDRA wiped her mind when she was only 18 and her older brother, Steve, was 20.
