no one will read this because this blurb is too long and peoples attention spans don't last longer than a tweet but i thought writing this felt important nonetheless. It's not for everyone. That's okay. We're taught that if your work doesn't reach a lot of people it isn't important. But when someone, even just one person, sees your work and has a connection to it, it means something too, and because it only appeals to one person, the work has more importance. Like a pair of jeans that only fit you. Intimacy can be important in the consumption of art not just conversation. There's artistic intimacy. When a work of art deters so many people away that only a few are left standing. Maybe even just one.
