Suna is a Neko who was stolen away from her family as an infant and raised with the Kazekage and his family. She was supposed to be the one to carry the Shukaku before Gaara was ever thought of. But when Gaara came along the Kazekage saw a better opportunity and banished the neko to fend for herself on the blistering heat of the Sunagakure streets. She vowed to watch over Gaara who unknowingly carries her rightful burden, even if she was never able to meet him and tell him of her actions. But one day when his decision to join the Chuunin exams threatened to keep him out of her watchful eye, a miracle happened and she was able to finally show herself to the red headed assassin.
