A TFIL fan fiction. Lana just recently was finally able to get herself out of a very toxic and abusive relationship, with help from her best friend Ember. You see Lana never trusted people outside of her big brother Elton Castee and her best friend Ember Jaxon. But when Elton left, Lana began falling apart till she met Derek Carter who she thought was everything she needed, as she also had stopped talking with Elton when the met, even though she was only 16 when she met the 18 year old Derek. After 2 years of being super happy the two of them decided it was time to move in together. Ember repeatedly tried to convince Lana it wasn't a good idea, as Ember had a feeling things were going to change for the worst and boy was Ember correct. Lana saw no red flags and moved in with Derek anyways. After about two months the verbal abuse began, and six month later the physical abuse began. It gradually got worse, after about 3 years, Derek finally got it to where Lana had Blocked Ember and her brother. After 2 years Lana was no longer herself and couldnt stand the abuse anymore. It was a Friday morning when Derek awoke Lana by throwing things at her, he told her to be ready when he got back as he was bringing his friends home and wanted Lana to look presentable for him to look good in front of them.
