After 97 years on the Ark , Chancellor Jaha decides to send 100 criminals down to Earth, in hopes of giving the rest of his people a chance at living. Chancellor Jaha sent these criminals to Earth not knowing if they would survive. As the struggles with oxygen on the Ark continue, the 100 fight against unknown people and each other to stay alive. Evelyn Thomas was one of those criminals. Evelyn fights against herself and the negative voice inside her head in order to keep the others alive. That is until she meets someone who makes that voice disappear. As the 100 fight to survive the Earth, Evelyn struggles with her feelings and if she should give in and be happy or walk away forever. As their time on Earth continues, people start to hunt for food and make living spaces out of things they find. Does Evelyn use her Earth skills she learned while on the Ark or does she hide away in her own world only to hear people call her crazy?
