A team of five unlikely people - thrown together by the most unlikely of situations - must survive after a cyro-cell malfunction. A trip that was supposed to last four years - one year setting up the analysis system, and the other three years in stasis to expedite the process - goes terribly wrong. Ryan, a leader of the famed Fifth Squadron, sent to keep an eye over the scientists if anything went wrong. Ryder, whose past is shrouded in mystery, yet has a near flawless track record. Natalia, the federal agent who was sent up as a representing member of the United National Nations. Phoenix, the actual organizer of the project. And Neil, the man who lives in this new world. 102 years later, the crew awakes from their slumber. After awakening from their stasis, the crew must make a crash landing on Earth due to a routine check gone horrifically wrong. But nothing is the same. All traces of humans are gone. No buildings. No monuments. Nothing. In its place? Not a wasteland due to some chemical fallout. Nor is it a barren wasteland covered in snow. Lush, tropical forests strive. Oceans house millions of life forms. But even then, nothing is the same. Earth has changed during the century that the team had been slumbering - evolution somehow happened at a startling pace. It becomes clear very quickly to the team why humans have seemingly died off. These new animals are smarter, bigger, and tougher. In a world where the only certainty is that you're always within the grasp of death, these five heroes must learn to rely on one another... ...or face extinction once and for all. -_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_- |5/30/2014 Sci fi #95 Action #144| |5/31/2014 Sci fi #92 Action #134| |6/1/2014 Sci fi #96 Action #135| |6/2/2014 Sci Fi #112 Action #173| |6/9/2014 Action #106 Sci Fi #162| |October 7th 2015 Sci Fi #953| |October 8th 2015 Sci Fi #546|

Stereotypes. I hate them. On my first day at my new school, a girl in a blue and white cheerleader's uniform told me I 'looked like a cheerleader' and asked me to come to tryouts. I almost decked her. Blonde hair and blue eyes do not a cheerleader make. Cheerleaders can be bitchy and mean but they can also act all happy and excited and they can drool and swoon over Finn Wallace – the hands-down hottest guy in school – like there's no tomorrow. Me? Well, I'm just bitchy and mean. So someone please tell me why Finn Wallace is suddenly chasing after me? *This is NOT a Bridgit Mendler fan fiction* Copyright © 2013 CrayonChomper

The first you should know is that this is a VERY short version of Divergent; and it's been called the "best parody on here" by several different users. Don't believe me? I shall prove it. ************************ In Trisha Pretor's dystopian Toronto, society is divided into two ranks, both dedicated to a particular virtue— the Clean, who value appearance and wealth, and are judged harshly; and the Unclean, who are more casual and have a lower expectation, and live in poverty. Once they've matured, and have black eyes, teens are required to enter a virtual reality to determine which rank they are better suited for. Trisha discovers that she is Detergent, having an equal aptitude for each rank, while most people can only endure one. The next day they choose which rank they will devote the rest of lives to. Trisha must decide whether she wants to stay dark, dreary world of the Unclean, (with her family, while denying her true self) or if she wants to embrace who she is at heart. Training is highly competitive, and causes stress for all of the Trainers. Trisha adopts a new name for herself,“Bee”. She tries to discover the truth of who her friends are, who she really is, and how she where a secret, forbidden romance with a sometimes amazing, sometimes infuriating boy fits into the life she's chosen for herself. She’s got a deep secret, and she’s heard that it may be her downfall. Bee discovers that tensions between parts of the city are increasing, and they threaten to unravel her society–not just one of the ranks. She finds that her closely guarded secret could either save her life, and that of those she cares about— or destroy her.

Summer Jacobs knew full well about her town’s tradition. Every year at the end of the summer, a party would be held on school grounds without the knowledge of the parents or the teachers. It had been happening since before Summer was born and never once was anyone the wiser. This year however, everyone was going to find out. Summer had planned a weekend of alcohol, bad decisions and horrendous photo’s which she would later un-tag herself from on Facebook. A whole weekend with her friends at the biggest party of the year, without any worries or parents telling her what to do. So how she ended up trapped in the school with a deranged psycho killing her classmates off one by one, she will never know. It wouldn’t have been as bad if she was trapped on her own. She would have been happier to face the lunatic solo rather than be trapped with a guy who kept using the life or death situation to make passes at her. His theory was being so close to death should definitely loosen her up, and by ‘loosen up’ he definitely meant ‘get naked.’ Along with his friends who between them had the IQ of a baby tree stump, an outcast who probably still had Spiderman bed sheets and the cheerleaders who were more worried about all the blood staining their new white jeans, they had to somehow make it out of there alive. And to think, Summer’s biggest worry that weekend was waking up with a brutal hangover… ©makeandoffer

Update: This story has been discontinued. - I am terribly sorry. Your mother lied to you. She told you that you were unique, and that as a teenager you have a whole bunch of options you can choose from to determine who you want to be. She must have been high. Look, I'm going to tell you this honestly. Somewhere out there in this floating sphere of green and blue, there's a person who acts just like you. It's the combinations of different personalities - which eventually lead up to an actual human being - that makes us all unique. But it can't hurt to find out where your personality stems from, right? Wanna know who you are? I'll help you out. There are 36 students in my classroom. Which one are you?

[Sci-Fi / Fantasy / Romance ] Aurora Rosa is bonded—but not by choice, her existence is tied to a man she has yet to meet. Forced into submission because of her origin, her fate is sealed. Why? Because she is the property of Zachary Thomson. The man who owns her contract. As an Immortalia, she is nothing but a product with no expiration date. With extraordinary powers, she’s useful to many. Useful in the sense that she can benefit several businesses—that is until they tamper with her nature, and transforms her into a weapon instead of a tool. They say in life there are no second chances. But what if you had blown it with the girl of your dreams? What would you do knowing that she was out there, in other realities, realities you hadn't screwed up? That kind of thing could really mess you up... and it could make you do "some crazy." Down-on-his-luck David Blunt is as loser as a loser you can get; recently kicked out of school and fired from his dead end job, David's been squatting in his flop-house apartment, avoiding his landlord and subsisting on stale fortune cookies and cheap street meat for weeks. But when David reads a fortune that predicts an epic future for him, he starts to think that his luck is about to change. Emma Gossett is a spirited world traveler full of wanderlust, and never stays put in one place long enough to form any attachments. Her lovable and eccentric Gran insists this is because she was hidden from the Norns as a babe to keep them from naming Emma's fate, a fable Emma puts little faith in. But when Emma meets David, her faith in reality is shaken to the core. Does this rambling cynical romantic hold the answer to the prevailing sense of déjà vu she's been feeling lately? Or is it just something else, as her new and mysterious and magnetic acquaintance Gabriel insists? Perhaps he holds the key to the mysterious sensations she has felt of living another life alongside her own. All Your Fates is a multiverse mindwarp with supernatural elements that one reader commented: "This story is twisting into ways a pretzel couldn't even try!!"
