Once the land of Zorah was peaceful and protected by the valorous Guardians. But those Guardians were overthrown by a cruel warlord and his savage army. A massive battle drove the few survivors into hiding, while Vask quickly established himself as Lord of Zorah, with his feared Fire Army prepared to do his every bidding. A poor farmer boy wants nothing to do with the Fire Army, especially after his brother was taken to be trained as a soldier.
