A story about Hiccup and Astrid on Berk. They are now 21. Takes place after httyd 2. This is my first story ever so please don't hate. Sorry if I have some bad grammar or spelling mistakes. I am here to please some. So enjoy :) Inspired to write this story from all the hiccsrtid stories that I have read that are amazing. Also I would like to thank 2 of my good friends that read my story even though they are not fans in any way of how to train your dragon and that they put up with my obsession about how to train your dragon.

I'm all for Hiccstrid, and I've always been so... that's it basically. These are going to be short stories (with occasional longer ones probably) about them, mostly taking place in the Race to the Edge-era. I won't include any crossovers, and I will try to stay true to the HTTYD "canon". Pure Hiccstrid, to summarize it. Completed story. Written between May and September of 2019.

Night Rider - A httyd and Hiccstrid book. -Astrid's pov- 8 years. That's how long it has been. 8 lonely, cold, devastating years of my life that I will never get back. Every night I dream the same dream - every night the same day returns to haunt me over and over. That day dramatically changed my life for the worst. Why did that day happen? Everyone learnt to leave me in peace in the morning. Everyone knew my deepest, darkest secret that changed people's opinions of me forever. Everyone knew my arch enemy, but only 2 people know why he is my arch enemy. My friends still talk to me, just not in the same way as they used to - it's almost as if they are scared of me, or don't want to be associated with me. One day I want this to change. One day I want my life to turn around. One day I will truely be me again. One day I will be happy. One day I will be free. I cannot see that day in the forseeable future, but I know it will come, and I know somehow it is connected to my enemy. *I know that it is an over-used story line but I tried to spice it up a little. Kinda like how you may always eat a Chicken Masala and then you try a Vindaloo - they're both food and both curries but one is different from the other* There are extra chapters at the end containing side-stories of this book. It will make more sense when you read the chapter titled: 'The little boat' near the end of the book, but the actual story is 60 chapters long.

This story is going to be different. Instead of being saved by Toothless, both he and Hiccup are presumed dead. Those are the 'death' that change the Archipelago forever. Clans reunited, the vikings grow stronger and the dragons have become a part of their life. In the blink of an eye, seven years have passed and the Archipelago has grown used to the peaceful nature of their new life. But how would they react when a war between two unknown forces are knocking at their doorstep. A war that could end the Archipelago or turn the Archipelago into something more. Hiccup left a Thor forsaken note to end his life, Astrid began searching for him as if he's either alive or not. June 1st, 2018 I extended the date because I'm busy in college but that does not mean I'm not ending it with a huge cliffhanger 😝 story continues.
