The angels have fallen. Castiel lost his grace, and is now a human. He experiences hunger, cold, need, but still pondered at the thought of love. Dean takes him under his wing and helps him understand his new way of life; every aspect. Even though his grace is lost, the affair between a man and an angel is forbidden. Not to mention, an angel and a Winchester. In addition to the internal conflicts between the two, they also have to worry about the bounty put on Castiel's head by the other fallen angels.

On June 6 1944, American soldiers arrive on the shores of Normandy. Among them, landing at Omaha Beach, Captain Dean Winchester and Private Castiel Novak, who isn't what you would call excited to be there.

Castiel is a mighty, powerful angel of the lord stuck in the body of a twelve year old when he first meets Dean Winchester, a human with a significant roll to play in Castiel's own future. After having Dean placed in his care, Castiel tries to stay out of the boy's affairs as much as possible, but he can't keep that up forever.

An angel of the lord, or used to be. There was always something whispering to him, saying these women aren't what you want but being Dean, he kept ignoring those feelings, kept pretending to be more into women than men. Which he's always wondered what it'd be like to be with a man, but was too afraid to be who is that is until Castiel comes along, Dean and Castiel have a connection. Dean doesn't mind their connection but what will happen when Dean and Castiel share a one night thing? Will Dean keep fighting his urges, pretending nothing happened between the two and move on? But what if new human, Castiel just can't seem to move on from that night? (Picks up after season 8 finale, sorry if I'm spoiling anything!!)
