Flame is a girl dying on a world ravaged first by a power-hungry dictator, and now by overly-intelligent animals, and the chemical that made the animals smart. The only problem is, Flame isn't sick like the other people, and she can do things she never could before. She searches for an answer and instead finds a person -a boy- just like her. Following him, she finds more people, a whole community, like her. Maybe, with this chemical, they can find the key to bringing back their world. (Cover by the amazing Dr_RyBread!)
