| Light novel | Drama | Illustrated | Slice of life | Fade lives a life left on her own, struggling constantly to survive in a society that swallows everyone who doesn't keep up with its pace; her only company is a kitchen knife and a scar embedded in her leg that reminds her every day of who she is and why she is there. While she's stealing in a supermarket, she meets Jag, a weird-looking kid who convinces her to join him in his weird plan: to become the main sponsor of one of the most successful bands of the moment, of which he's a huge fan, and - apparently - he doesn't lack the money to do so. She allows herself to be convinced to meet Nef, a typical playboy, who eventually will learn that they both are hiding a secret bigger than them. 🏆 Winner in "Light Cover" category on the Graphic Wattys 20 🏆 First place in general fiction on The Blue lotus Awards 2020 🏆 Second place in general fiction on The Constellation Awards 2020 🏆 Second place in general fiction on Aurora Awards 2020 🏆 Third place in general fiction on Books And Beyond Awards 2021

Whatever you think they are, they aren't anymore. Those pure, holy beings with snowy white wings and golden harps are nothing like what I've seen. I'd never understood it. A supreme being, living in paradise with all the good people who passed away. All those dead humans? This is not what they had become. That is not how they would spend the rest of eternity. Singing and dancing in the sky as they brought love and kindness to the world. Ha, don't make me laugh. Those are people. Good, breathing people. They are far and in between, but human. These things are nothing like that. They have hung up their halos. And they have come down from the sky. They do not sing. They do not dance. They do not love. And they are no longer kind.

**PAUSED** Two young women face the chaotic future of your Earth. One is a princess while the other is her handmaid and protector. The two serve their empire with a smile on their face and painted hands waving. Except, both hands are covered with callouses and they have muscles that would put an average man to shame. Why? Because they're going to save the world. ***** "The steel door slid open once she had placed her toothbrush back in the cup, and delicately stepped out as a shelf unsheathed from the TAGA to give her her garb. 'I don't understand why you've changed the program to not assess you with being clothed, O-13. You understand that it is much more efficient, do you not?' O-13 did not blink as she grabbed her clothing and slowly set it on her bed as she spoke to the Empress. 'I do understand, My Imperial Majesty, and I will change it back if you prefer.' Empress Varibus cocked her head as she studied the scarred nude woman before her and amused herself by saying, 'No, no. I much prefer this.' She smiled and stepped further. The naked soldier seized her breathing and allowed the violating hand of the Empress to turn her body fully around. 'Such exquisite perfection, my love,' she breathed. The Empress continued her caressing further down her pale body but stopped as an urgent message buzzed from her silver band. With an aggravated expression, she opened it to see her daughter, Princess Lilliana, requesting her mother's presence immediately. Ravenna breathed again, slowly, and said to O-13, 'I'm afraid we'll have to continue this at a different time, dearest. It seems that my weakling needs her mother's assurance again. Surely you understand.' She chuckled and ended with, 'Though you have no choice.'"
