The Boleyn Legacy is a captivating historical drama that follows the life of Katherine Boleyn, the lesser-known sister of Anne Boleyn, during the tumultuous reign of King Henry VIII. Set against the backdrop of the Tudor court, the series explores themes of ambition, love, betrayal, and the struggle for power as Katherine navigates the intricate dynamics of her family and the royal court. The story begins with Katherine, a beautiful but naive fifteen-year-old, living in the shadow of her ambitious sister, Anne. While Anne seeks to capture the heart of the King, Katherine is determined to forge her own path, unaware of her own allure and the attention it garners. Her life takes a turn when King Henry VIII arrives at Hever Castle for a visit. During this visit, Katherine unexpectedly encounters the King in the library, where their shared love of literature leads to an unlikely bond. Through lavish ballrooms, secret rendezvous, and the intrigue of court politics, The Boleyn Legacy portrays Katherine's transformation from a sheltered girl to a young woman who must decide between her heart and her duty. As she discovers her own strength, Katherine must navigate the dangerous waters of court life, ultimately questioning whether love and loyalty can coexist in a world rife with ambition and betrayal.

Summary: With the King of England injured during a hunt, on the account of the middle child Anne, eldest daughter Mary takes a chance and pushes her youngest sister into the room to take care of the King instead of herself. This starts a change to history that nobody expected to happen the way it did. -- NOTE: Currently being restored to full length as somehow chapters and notes got moved to one of my stories for Batman still holding their original stats. I am currently copy-pasting and fixing the chapters and hope to finish soon. My original notes for the newest chapter, though, were lost as one of the subjects was nigh impossible to research (RE: Stockholm Slaughter of November 1520) and I found very little that could actually be adapted into a letter from Verity to Suleiman. I am going to be finishing the chapter by adding a letter from Suleiman to Verity. Or, rather, excerpts of his responses to her previous letters. I am hoping it turns out better than the original idea.
