Verity is a young 14 year old with her whole life ahead. She has been keeping herself busy with band... A band attempts to go on a long band trip to New York from Orlando Florida. Unfortunately their trip was not what they've expected. Instead of a smooth journey to the cold city of New York they are stuck. Stuck in a location with no food, water, shelter, nothing. And they're so close to New York, too. The bus driver had taken a wrong turn somewhere and now they were lost. To top off their problems the bus ran out of gas without a gas station in sight, and got stuck in a thick river of mud. Together, the band director and some trumpets form as leaders, hoping to lead their precious band to New York in time for the Veteran's Day parade. Can they they make it in time, or is the band's faith in their leader and themselves misplaced?
