Especially after hearing about Bella's troubles with her boyfriend leaving. Plagued with memories from the two wars and her time with her brother and best friend in Tartarus, Italy finds it difficult to settle in and trust anyone. She's constantly looking over her shoulder and is extremely suspicious of the tanned boys who Bella always seems to like.
