Lila Jones has never been normal. Somewhere along the lines of- I'd rather be exploring the world kinda not normal. So that's what she does, or at least used to. A few years back she was hired by Monarch on a supposed mission to find some sort of monster. Nothing came of it. Even so, Lila liked the idea of searching for these new huge creatures. Though she was never shown too much from the insiders of her employers she enjoyed working for them. Times have been tough, with no new findings Monarch is forced to go on one final hunt, strong evidence leading them to skull island. Lila is picked to come along. Though she is informed there will be other non monarch people attending. A supposed photographer and another mercenary hired as a tracker. Unfortunately she has to work under Bill who doesn't like her too much. Not to mention the crazed army general. Despite the hostile environment Lila becomes quick friends with ex Captan James Conrad. And when placed in a life or death situation for a couple day is forced to rely on him as she has never before. On anyone. Trust and hope is needed to get off this island. But feelings can get in the way of that. So will Lila make it? Who knows. All properties belong to the owners, I don't skull Island, or any of the characters or storyline. Ashlynn Roberts was always drawn to the art of magic. She was always fascinated by the way a magician could make a card disappear, or make a bird appear from a cloth. Since she was small, she learned the art of magic, from performing tricks to entertain or telling her stories of magicians and escape artists. Ashlynn then grows up and becomes an escape artist/ magician, wowing the streets of NY with her tricks and illusions. Then after one of her performances, she finds a Tarot card with the symbol of 'The Eye,' one of the magic stories that her father told her as a young girl. Following the instructions the card has, she meets up with four other magicians, one of them being Jack Wilder. Ashlynn finds herself being drawn to him, but as the two get closer to each other, the danger also gets closer. Together, they must become The Five Horsemen in order to become part of 'The Eye.' But do they really know what they're getting into? Or are they too close to see the truth?

Hey, I'm Niki. A magician. I moved/ran away to America when I was 16. Magic is all I've ever wanted to do but with struggling for money and living on my own I had to turn to some of my other talents to get by. I'm a street racer so that's how I make money when I'm desperate but street magic and the occasional con trick is usually enough for me. I found a tarot card in my pocket and from that moment on my life was flipped. This is a Jack Wilder fanfic and will contain some of the main scenes from Now You See Me so I would suggest watching it first to avoid the spoilers. It's an amazing film and Dave Franco ;)
