Avni didn't care what others thought of her, the only thing that mattered to her was what Neil thinks of her. She thought he believed her, but he arrested her instead. Neil knows Avni is innocent, but to protect her from Vidyut he has to arrest her. He wants to tell her he believes her, but couldn't.
