Cherry's Aunt Sara and Uncle Jim invite her and her friends to come with them to the lake, but before they can go, there is an adventure awaiting them as they are to explore a mansion which is rumored to be haunted to be crawling with ghosts, zombies, and curses.

The girls were all stunned. They had heard so many different stories about that mansion. Maybe they could prove some stories were true. They were reporters after all. Clara, Sara and Lila are young girls who live an everyday life. When they decide to get a scoop for the school newspaper about an old mansion supposedly haunted, they decide to check this place out. Will the stories be true? Or will they be false? Well... there's only one way to find out. **NOTE: I do not own the Haunted Mansion characters, only Clara, Sara, Lila, Serena and the plot.
